“W.O.W.” - Women of Wisdom:
Wednesdays 9:30am – 11:45am,
September 13th – May 1st
Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever. Ps 118:1
W.O.W. (Women of Wisdom) is sound Bible study aimed directly at Biblical literacy. This year, we will balance studying OT wisdom literature like Psalms and Proverbs with the NT letters of I and II Peter, along with Jude. Whether we are learning to put praise on every day of our lives the way that the Psalms put praise on every page of the book; harvesting wisdom of a God-pleasing life from Proverbs, or being encouraged yet confronted in the books of I Peter, II Peter and Jude, the Lord has a message of Himself in all.
Daily lessons for personal study begin the excavation of the depth of God’s Word. Weekly small group discussion followed by worship in song and large group lecture allow iron to sharpen iron as we spend our Wednesday mornings together. Fellowship with these ladies is sure to lead to Godly friendships!
For those where distance or health prevents attendance, we would love to invite you to our virtual group via Zoom. Email WOW@shepherds.org for more information.
Homework for class: 2.5 hours/week
Cost: $35/year
Childcare available for an additional fee.
