Precept Upon Precept Inductive Study- 1 and 2 Samuel/ 1 Chronicles

In 1 Samuel we will see  God's search for a man after His own heart.  From judges to kings, from the departure of God's glory to the assurance of His help, from inquiring of the Lord to inquiring of a medium-- this book of contrasts sets before us the importance of a life of obedience and how it's lived out in the midst of interpersonal conflicts. In 2 Samuel and 1 Chronicles we will watch a "man after God's own heart" ascend to the throne, then descend into sin.  See how a covenant- keeping God turns a man from the worst sins to a victorious finish.  

Homework: 5 days per week, 45 mins per day
