Thank you for your willingness to serve as a volunteer coach in this MatchPlay Soccer league! By registering to coach your child, in addition to automatically placing your child on your team, we attempt to accommodate your other requests such as placing your other children that are playing in the league to be placed on teams that practice on the same night you are coaching. If this applies to you, please send an email to Matt Wetzel at mwetzel@shepherds.org. You do not have to be a member, nor a regular attender, of Colonial to coach.

While it is helpful, you do not need to "know" soccer to help coach. 

Instead of our regular pre-season coach’s meeting, we will be having you watch an online video. This video will replace our coach’s meeting. In this video, Matt Wetzel, Director of Crossroads Sports, will lay out the requirements of a coach and provide you with some much needed information about this upcoming season. A few weeks prior to your teams first practice, you will receive an email that will provide you with the link for the coaching video.
